                     A considerable movement is possible at all synovial joints, synovial joints are of six types ; (1)Gliding joint (2)Hinge joint (3)Piovot joint (4)Condyloid joint (5)Saddle joint (6)Ball and socket joints Some joints are in details. Hinge joints : In a hinge joint spool (reel) like surface of one bone fits into the concave surface of another bone. The elbow, the knee, ankle and in terpharygeal joints are example of hinge joints. Ball and socket joint: In a ball and socket joints as the name suggests, a ball like structure on the one bone fits into a socket like structure in another bone.
