                     Bauhin (1623) proposed a binary system of naming plants in his book ?Pinax Theatre Botanical This concept was properly enlarged by Linnaeus in 1753 while publishing Species Plantarum. According to binomial system of nomenclature, a scientific name consists two words, ie, generic epithet and specific epithet. Bentham and Hooker proposed natural system of classification. Darwin give the theory of natural selection and theory of pangenesis.
