    A)                  Mammalia

    B)  Aves

    C)                  Reptilia

    D)  Sponges

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

In the endoskeleton of aves, the fusion of bones built with smallest amount of material after the hollow girder principle combines strength with lightness, one of the first essentials in successful flight. Most of the bones are pneumatic and filled with air sacs instead of bone marrow. Endoskeleton in Mammalia is thoroughly ossified. Skull is dicondylic. Bone marrow is present. The endoskeleton of class Reptilia is bony. Skull is monocondylic/ A characteristic T-shaped inter clavicle is present. Spicules of mesophyl layer serve as a skelton to support the body wall in sponges. The spicules are secreted by special type of amoebocytes called calcoblasts.
