Blastula is typically a hollow, sphere like embryo with a wall of blastomeres enclosing a blastocoel cavity. In blastula, the various embryonic parts can be enmarked for their future fate with respect to the derivation from the germ layers (ecoderm, endoderm and mesoderm). Morula is a solid ball like stage formed after cleavage. It is 32-celled stage (16 micromeres and 16 macromeres).
