It negative traumatropism and towards injury is called positive traumatropism. Aerotropism movement induced in response to air, eg, positively aerotropic? pneumato- phores. Geotropism is directional paratonic growth movement of curvature caused by unilateral exposure to gravity. Main root is positively geotropic, main stem, coleoptile and pneumatophores are negatively geotropic.
