    Solution :

                     The output resistance is given by                 \[R=\frac{{{V}_{c}}}{{{I}_{c}}}\] Given,   \[{{V}_{c}}=0.5\,V,\,{{I}_{c}}=0.04\,mA\]                 \[=0.04\times {{10}^{-3}}A\] \[\therefore \]  \[R=\frac{0.5}{0.04\times {{10}^{-3}}}\]                 \[=12500\,\,\Omega =12.5\,\,k\Omega \]
