    D)                  None of these

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Conjunctiva is the folded skin, which is present as a delicate mucous membrane upon undersurface of eyelids and only the epidermis of this membrane extends over the cornea between base lines of the eyelids. This epidermis is transparent and fused with cornea. Blood vessels are clearly visible beneath it. Pupil is the variable aperture system. The amount of light that enters the eye through the pupil is proportional to the area of the pupil or to square of the diameter of the pupil. Eyelids (palpebrae) At dorsal and ventral edges of an eye orbit the skin is folded to form thin but somewhat muscular upper and lower eyelids, which are fused together at their ends, forming the inner and outer angles of the eye.
