                     The container A and B contain marine and freshwater respectively. Amoeba inhabit fresh and marine water. If the marine Amoeba or other protozoan is placed in freshwater, it will develop contractile vacuole for osmoregulation. But, formation of contractile vacuole ceases and disappearance of contractile vacuole takes place when again put back into marine water.
