    A)  colourblindness

    B)  muscular dystrophy

    C)  G6PD deficiency

    D)  haemophilia A and B.

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

: Colour blindness is not a lethal disease. G6PD and haemophilia are connected with blood. Muscular dystrophy diseases are recessive sex linked and are lethal within a period of 10 years. Muscular dystrophy starts within the age of 3-10 years and it affects all the major muscle including the muscle of respiration, that is why it is lethal. Muscular dystrophy occurs due to non synthesis of protein dystrophin which is required for transfer of nerve impulse to calcium storing region of the muscles.
