    Solution :

                    The sixth amino acid from the amino terminal end of \[\beta \] chain of normal haemoglobin is glutamic acid while in sickle cell haemoglobin, it is valine. It results a change in confermation of the haemoglobin melecule and the RBC becomes sickle shaped.
