                    Lysergide (LSD) is also known as D-Lysergic acid diethylamide-15.                 It is extracted from ergot a fruiting body of fungus Claviceps purpurea. It is a hallucinogens.                 In very small amount it induces trachycardia and hypertension.                 Addiction of LSD cause damage to central nervous system; chromosomal aberration and psychosis etc.
