    Assertion Seeds fails to germinate at very low and high temperature. Reason Seeds sown deep into the soil fail to germinate. These questions consist two statement each printed as Assertion and Reason. While answering these question, you are required to choose any one of the following four options.

    Solution :

                    Low temperature inactivate and high temperature denatures the enzyme present in seeds during the germination. Seed sown in deep soil are fail to germinate because of non-availability of oxygen. However, they respire for short period.
