    C)  If Assertion is true statement but Reason is false, then mark

    D)  If both Assertion and Reason are false statements, then mark

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Tapeworm (Taenia solium) belongs to Platyhelminthes and roundworm (Ascaris), pinworm         (Enterobius) belongs to As helminthes. All of these are endoparasites. The main cause of the intestinal infection is improperly cooked food. However, tapeworm infection occurs by eating improperly cooked food, Ascaris is transmitted by contaminated food and water and Enterobious vennicularis or rinworm may be transmitted through food or improper sanitary conditions. So both assertion and reason are correct.
