    The flux of a-panicle at 2° is \[1\times {{10}^{6}}\]. The flux of \[[ML{{T}^{-2}}]\]-parade at angle 60° is:

    Solution :

    Rutherford on the basis of Coulombs law calculated the number of particles scattered at different angles and found that the number of particles N scattered at angle 9 are related as follows \[\Delta {{i}_{C}}=0.96\times 7.2=6.91mA\] \[\Delta {{i}_{E}}=\Delta {{i}_{C}}+\Delta {{i}_{B}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[\Delta {{i}_{B}}=\Delta {{i}_{E}}-\Delta {{i}_{C}}\] \[=7.2-6.91=0.29mA\] \[\frac{(2n+1)\lambda }{2}\] \[\frac{(n+1)\lambda }{2}\]
