    Flowers which are pollinated by moving air i.e., wind are known as anemophillous flowers e.g., Wheat, rise etc. The characteristic features of anemophillous flower are as follows:               (i) Bisexual flower condition,               (ii) Production of pollen grains in excess,                 (iii) Pollen are small sized, non stickly and sometime winged.                 (iv) Small, colourless and scentless flowers. (v) Feathery and protruding stigmas so, that pollens can easly entangle in them.
