    Solution :

    COAM about the contact point \[I{{\omega }_{0}}=I\omega +mvr\] \[m{{r}^{2}}{{\omega }_{0}}=m{{r}^{2}}\omega +mvr=2mvr\] \[\therefore \] \[v=\frac{r{{\omega }_{0}}}{2}\]
