JEE Main & Advanced AIEEE Solved Paper-2007

  • question_answer
A block of mass m is connected to another block of mass M by a spring (massless) of spring constant k. The blocks are kept on a smooth horizontal plane. Initially the blocks are at rest and' the spring is unstretehed. Then, a constant force F starts acting on the block of mass M to pull it; Find the force on the block of mass m.     AIEEE  Solved  Paper-2007

    A)  \[c=x\hat{i}+(x-2)\hat{j}-\hat{k}\]

    B)  \[x\]

    C)  \[R=(3,3\sqrt{3})\]

    D)         \[\angle PQR\]

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Acceleration of system, \[\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}x+y=0\] So, force acting on mass\[x+\sqrt{3}y=0\]
