    Solution :

    Use \[\omega ={{\omega }_{0}}-\alpha t\] Here, \[{{\omega }_{0}}=900\,rpm\,\,=\,(2\pi \times 900)/60\,\,rad\,{{s}^{-1}}\] \[\omega =0\] and \[t=60\] \[\therefore \]  \[0=\frac{2\pi \times 900}{60}-60\alpha \] or  \[\alpha =\frac{2\pi \times 900}{60\times 60}\] \[\alpha =\frac{\pi }{2}\]
