    A) Allopatric

    B) Sympatric

    C) Biospecies

    D) Sibling species

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

A species population having discontinuous distribution due to geographical barrier is called allopatric species. Addtion of certain more variations in their gene pool leads to reproductive isolation. Sympatric :         Species originating in oroccupying the same geographical area. Here speciation occurs due to polyploidy or mutation. Bio species : (Biological species) are sexually interbreeding group of individuals and reproductively isolated from other species. They do not exchange genetic material from other species (or absence of cross-fertilization). Sibling species : Two distinct species which are morphologically identical but reproductively isolated i.e., distinct from each other due to absence of interbreeding.
