    Solution :

    Ozone is confined into the stratosphere where it is formed when sunlight reacts with oxygen molecules. It protects the earth from harmful UV rays (less than       300 nm ) by absorbing the UV rays. Due to human activities, the ozone layer in the stratosphere becomes start thinning, this is known as ozone depletion or ozone hole. The prime suspects of ozone hole are CFCs (Chlorofluro Carbons).
