    Foreign Female Students = 3500
    What is the average number of male students from countries C, D and E?

    Solution :

    (a) Male students from country C = 280 Male students from country D =\[\frac{9000\times 25}{100}-\frac{3500\times 40}{100}\] \[=2250-1400=850\] Male students from country E \[\frac{9000\times 24}{100}-\frac{3500\times 16}{100}\] \[=2160-560=1600\] Required average =\[\frac{280”850”1600}{3}=\frac{2730}{3}=910\]
