    B) 19 : 17

    C) 17: 15

    D) 12: 11

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    (c) Males in village P = \[40000\times \frac{3}{8}\] = 15000 Females = 40000 - 15000 = 25000 Females in village R = \[\frac{90\times 25000}{100}\]= 22500 Males in village R = 48000 - 22500 = 25500 \[\therefore \] Required ratio = 25500 : 22500 =17:15
