    (c) Population of villages P and Q = 40000 + 38400 = 78400 Population of villages S and T = 28800 + 30720 = 59520 \[\therefore \] Required per cent = \[\left( \frac{78400-59520}{59520} \right)\times 100\] = \[\frac{1888000}{59520}\]\[\approx \] 31.72
