    Solution :

     Time taken by boy \[=x\]days \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{24}+\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{6}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{6}-\frac{1}{10}-\frac{1}{24}\]             \[=\frac{20-12-5}{120}=\frac{3}{120}=\frac{1}{40}\].
