    If \[\tan \theta =\frac{4}{3},\]then the value of \[\frac{\sin \theta +\cos \theta }{\sin \theta -\cos \theta }\] will be-

    A) \[\frac{1}{7}\]

    B) 7

    C) 5

    D) \[\frac{1}{5}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    \[\tan \theta =\frac{4}{3}\] =         then \[\frac{\sin \theta +\cos \theta }{\sin \theta -\cos \theta }\] =         \[\frac{\cos \theta \left[ \frac{\sin \theta }{\cos \theta }+1 \right]}{\cos \theta \left[ \frac{\sin \theta }{\cos \theta }-1 \right]}=\frac{\tan \theta +1}{\tan \theta -1}\] =         \[\frac{\frac{4}{3}+1}{\frac{4}{3}-1}=\]
