    From a point on circular track of 5 km, A, B and C start to run in the same direction at the speed of \[2\frac{1}{2}\] km/hr, 3 km/hr and 2 km/hr respectively. After what time (in hours) they will meet at the same point?

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    Time taken by A to make one round =         \[5\div \frac{5}{2}=2\,\,hours\] Time taken by B =\[\frac{5}{3}\] hours and that by C = \[\frac{5}{2}\] hours Required time = LCM of \[\left( 2,\frac{5}{3},\frac{5}{2} \right)\] \[=\,\,\,\,\,\frac{LCM\,\,of\,\,(2,5,5)}{HCF\,\,of\,\,(1,3,2)}=\frac{10}{1}\]= 10 hours
