    Solution :

    Given, 3 x+y = 81 or, 3x+y = 34 or, x+ y= 4                           ..(i) and 81x-y = 3 or, (34) x-y =32 or, x ? y = \[\frac{1}{4}\]                          ...(ii) On solving the equation (i) and (ii), we get - 2x =\[\frac{17}{4}\] ; x = \[\frac{\mathbf{17}}{\mathbf{8}}\]
