    Let the number of students \[=x\] Percentage of girls in school \[=30%\] \[\therefore \] \[30%\,\,\text{of}\,\,x=504\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{30\times x}{100}=504\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{504\times 100}{300}=1680\] \[\therefore \] Number of boys in school             \[=1680-504=1176\]
