    Volume of copper rod \[=\pi {{(0.5)}^{2}}\times 8\,c{{m}^{3}}\] Volume of wire             \[=\pi \times {{r}^{2}}\times 1800\,c{{m}^{3}}\] According to the question,             \[=\pi \times {{r}^{2}}\times 1800=\pi \times 0.25\times 8\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{r}^{2}}=\frac{0.25\times 8}{1800}=\frac{1}{900}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[r=\frac{1}{30}\,cm\]
