    Solution :

    According to question, \[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{2}{1}\]                                ? (i) And      \[\frac{x-2}{y+2}=\frac{1}{1}\]             ? (ii)             \[\left[ \begin{matrix}    A & B  \\    x & y  \\    x-2 & y+2  \\ \end{matrix} \right]\] After solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get \[x=Rs.\,8\] and \[y=Rs.\,4\]
