    Solution :

    We know that Area of circle \[=\pi {{r}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \] According to question,             \[\pi {{r}^{2}}=38.5\,sq\,\,cm\] \[\therefore \]      \[{{r}^{2}}=\frac{38.5}{22}\times 7={{(3.5)}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \]      \[r=3.5\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Circumference of circle \[=2\pi r\]             \[=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 3.5=22\,cm\]
