    Total no. of volcanic eruptions in Japan during the given four year = 60 + 100 + 120 + 140 = 420 Total number of volcanoes in Japan \[=1000\times \frac{34}{100}=340\] \[\therefore \]Reqd %\[=\frac{420\times 100}{340}=123.52%\]
