          Let, the first number be x. and second number be y. According to the question, \[\frac{20x}{100}+y=1.4x\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[0.2x+y=1.4x\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[1.4x-0.2x=y\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[1.2x=y\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{1}{1.2}=\frac{10}{12}=\frac{5}{6}\]
