    According to the question, \[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{2}{1}\]                                ...(i) and                   \[\frac{x-2}{y+2}=\frac{1}{1}\]             ...(ii) After solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get x = Rs. 8 and y= Rs.4
