    Principal + SI for 5 yr = Rs. 24412.50 Principal + SI for 2 yr = Rs. 20925 On subtracting SI for 3 yr = Rs. 3487.50 \[\therefore \]SI for 2 yr\[=\frac{3487.50}{3}\times 2=\,\,Rs.\,\,2325\] \[\therefore \]Principal \[=20925-2325=\,\,Rs.18600\] Rate\[=\frac{100\times 2325}{18600\times 2}\] \[=6.25%\]per annum
