    Solution :

    Simple Interest \[=\frac{P\times R\times T}{100}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[5400-4500=\frac{4500\times 3\times R}{100}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[900=135\times R\] \[\therefore \]                  \[R=\frac{900}{135}=\frac{20}{3}=6\frac{2}{3}%\]
