    The first 3- digit number divisible by 13 = 104 The greatest number less than 300 and divisible by 13 = 299 Number of multiples = n \[\therefore \]      \[299=104+(n-1)\times 13\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[(n-1)\times 13=299-104=195\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[n-1=\frac{195}{13}=15\] \[\therefore \]\[n=15+1=16\]
