    Solution :

    Fraction\[=\frac{x}{x+1}\] Now,\[\frac{x-1}{x+1+1}=0.5=\frac{1}{2}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2x-2=x\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=2\] \[\therefore \]Fraction \[=\frac{x}{x+1}=\frac{2}{2+1}=\frac{2}{3}\]
