    Solution :

     Part filled by A in 1 min  \[=\frac{1}{30}\] part time by B in 1 min \[=\frac{1}{60},\] part filled by (A +B) in 1 min \[=\left( \frac{1}{30}+\frac{1}{60} \right)=\frac{3}{60}=\frac{1}{20}\] Both the pipes can fill the tank in 20 minutes.
