    Solution :

    Suppose, the present age of son = x yr and present age of father\[=(70-x)\] yr
    According to the question.
    \[2\,(x+10)=(70-x+10)\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2\,x+20=80-x\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[3x=60\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=20\]
    So, son’s present age = 20 yr
    And father’s present age\[=70-20=50\text{ }yr\]
