    \[y=\sqrt{12-\sqrt{12-\sqrt{12}-}}...=\sqrt{12-y}\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]\[\sqrt{12-y}=y\]is satisfied for \[y=3\]
    \[\therefore \]\[x-y=4-3=1\]
