Solution :

Area of rectangular field \[=30\times 24=720\,\,{{m}^{2}}\]

Area under the grass = Area of field without passages

\[=720-[2.5\times 30+2.5\times 24-2.5\times 2.5]\]

\[=720-[75+60-6.25]\]

\[=720-128.75=591.25\,\,{{m}^{2}}.\]
