    If the number of students with Mechanical specialisation in each institute increased by 20% and the number of students with Electronics specialisation in each institute decreased by 15% from 2013-13, then total number of students with Mechanical from all the institutes in 2013 is approximately what per cent of the total number of students with Electronics specialisation from all the institutes in 2013?

    In 2013, number of students with Mechanical specialisation
    in institute \[P=\frac{120}{100}\times 280=336\]
    in institute \[Q=\frac{120}{100}\times 360=432\]
    in Institute \[R=\frac{120}{100}\times 200=240\]
    in institute \[S=\frac{120}{100}\times 280=336\]
    in institute \[T=\frac{120}{100}\times 320=384\]
    in institute \[U=\frac{120}{100}\times 320=384\]
    in institute \[V=\frac{120}{100}\times 380=456\]
    Therefore, total number of students with Mechanical specialisation in 2013
    \[=336+432+240+336+384+384+456\]
    \[=2568\]
    Similarly in 2013, number of students with Electronics specialisation
    in institute \[P=\frac{85}{100}\times 220=187\]
    in institute \[Q=\frac{85}{100}\times 240=204\]
    in institute \[R=\frac{85}{100}\times 320=272\]
