    A) \[111\frac{7}{9}\]

    B) \[122\]

    C) \[123\]

    D) \[137\frac{3}{9}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    Given, average of 18 observations = 124
    \[\therefore \] Sum of observations \[=124\times 18=2231\]
    According to the question,
    New average \[=\frac{2232-(46+82)+(64+28)}{18}\]
    \[=\frac{2232-128+92}{18}\]
    \[=\frac{2232-26}{18}=\frac{2196}{18}=122\]
