    A) Rs. 1956

    B) Rs. 1586

    C) Rs. 1596

    D) Rs.  1496

    E) None of these

    Correct Answer: E

    Solution :

    SP of notebooks \[=\text{Rs}\text{. 457}\]
    \[\therefore \]Commission on one notebook\[=\text{Rs}.\frac{4\times 457}{100}\]
    and commission on 10 notebooks
    \[=\frac{4\times 457}{100}\times 10=\text{Rs}\text{.}\,\text{182}\text{.80}\]
SP of pencil box = 80
Commission of one pencil box\[=\frac{80\times 20}{100}\]
    \[\therefore \]Commission of 6 pencil boxes \[=\frac{80\times 20}{100}\times 6=96\]
    Total commission in one day = 182.80 + 96
    \[=\text{Rs}.\,\,278.80\]
    \[\therefore \]Total commission in 14 days \[=278.80\times 14\]
    \[=\text{Rs}.\,\,3903.2\]
