    C) 573

    D) 673

    E) 676

    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

Number of books sold in the year 2012
    \[=945\times \frac{8}{15}=504\]
Number of books sold in the year 2013
                \[=1240\times \frac{3}{4}=310\times 3=930\]
Total number of fiction books sold in the years 2012 and 2013 \[=504+930=1434\]
Number of non-fiction books sold in the year 2011              \[=720\times \frac{4}{9}=320\]
Number of non-fiction books sold in the year 2012
    \[=945\times \frac{7}{15}=63\times 7=441\]
Total number of non-fiction books sold in the years
    2011 and 2012 together \[=320+441=761\]
    \[\therefore \] Required difference \[=1434-761=673\]
