    Solution :

    Number of books sold through: online mode In the years 2010 and 2011
    \[=690\times \frac{40}{100}+720\times \frac{57.5}{100}\]
    \[=276+414=690\]
    Number of books sold through offline mode in the year
                \[=690\times \frac{60}{100}+720\times \frac{42.5}{100}\]
                \[=414+306=720\]
    \[\therefore \] Respective ratio \[=690:720=23:24\]
