    Number of candidates who were able to pass the exam for \[C++=2000\times \frac{60}{100}=1200\]
    Given, number of candidates who were able to pass the exam for C++ from colleges P, Q, R, and S

    \[\therefore \] Number of students who were able to pass the exam for C++ from college Q
    \[=\frac{4}{3+4+2+3}\times 1200=\frac{4\times 1200}{1200}=4\times 100=400\]
