    E) If the data in both the statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question

    Correct Answer: E

    Solution :

    \[\Rightarrow \]\[\frac{5x\times 15\times 2}{100}-\left\{ 3x{{\left( 1+\frac{20}{100} \right)}^{2}}-3x \right\}=900\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{3x}{2}-\left\{ 3x\times \frac{36}{25}-3x \right\}=900\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{3x}{2}-\left\{ \frac{108x-75x}{25} \right\}=900\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{75x-66x}{50}=900\]
    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[9x=900\times 50=Rs.5000\]
    Amount invested in scheme
    \[A=3\times 5000=15000\]
