    Solution :

    [a] 15 men can complete a job in \[9\times 16\]i.e. 144 hours. \[\therefore \]18 men will complete it in \[\frac{15\times 144}{18}\] hours i.e. in 120 hours.             \[\Rightarrow \]working 8 hours a day, the work is finished in \[120\div 8\]i.e. 15 days.
